WHO WE ARE

The Georgetown Plaintiffs' Law Association (GPLA) is a student-run organization at the Georgetown University Law Center. GPLA was founded in 2024 to increase awareness of, and access to, opportunities in plaintiffs’ law. We support students in pursuing careers as advocates for the rights of consumers, workers, whistleblowers, shareholders, and other injured parties.

WHAT WE DO

  • Host plaintiffs' lawyers who share their experience & perspective with students.

  • Organize networking events for students to engage directly with plaintiffs’ side organizations.

  • Advocate for more diversity in career programming options.

  • Provide mentorship, professional development, and community for students interested in alternatives to government and BigLaw.
